Charlotte Quilters Guild Show - March 9-10, 2012


Here is a great show that you don't want to miss out on!!  Lots of great quilts and a perfect venue with lots of room!!! The Charlotte Quilters Guild 2012 Quilt Show Reach Out!.  It will be held at the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo located at 7100 Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269.  This is accessed easily from both I-77 and I-85.  The show dates and hours are March 9 & 10, from 9 am to 5 pm each day.  The admission will be $6 and you can download a $1 off coupon (one per entrant) from the show site at www.charlottequiltersguild.org/quiltshows.html .   

This new venue is 20,000 square feet with plenty of free parking and a large food concession.  The show will have over 250 traditional, contemporary and art quilts, a silent auction, a guild boutique, raffle quilts, a raffle sewing machine, demos, door prizes and fun and inspiration for all.  And, for your shopping pleasure the following vendors with their wares will be there:

Auntie Jus Quilt Shoppe, will have punch needle supplies, quilt kits, hand dyed woolens, patterns and books.
Dawns Sewing & Embroidery, will have quilt kits, fabric by the yard, jelly rolls, notions and more.
Elaine's Attic will  have kits, fabric, patterns and notions.
Featherweight Poppy will have Singer Featherweights & parts for sale and will offer service for your Featherweights during the show.
Empty Pockets Alpaca Farm will offer yarns from their own alpacas, as well as alpaca wearables- hats, gloves, socks and shawls.  They might even be doing some spinning!
Goneaway Quilting is offering her hand dyed fabrics, her pattern line, kits, notions and her quilting service.
Hmong Pandau will have pandau pieces for sale:  mini quilts, purses, eyeglass cases etc.
Judy Lea Enterprizes will have her contemporary fabrics, silk, embellishments & artist papers.
LCM Enterprise is bringing quilt display furniture – ladders, end tables, ruler racks etc.
Local Colour Hues will have her lovely hand dyed fabric and kits, along with some wool roving for felting and knitting.
Marula Imports is bringing her 100% cotton fabrics from Africa!
Quilter's Gallery  those pizza girls, will have their pizza’s, patterns, templates & rulers as well as fabrics.
Quilt Patch Fabrics, Ltd. will have a nice variety of 100% cotton fabric, books and patterns and display pieces for inspiration.
QBee Quilts will be adding their books, pattern, fabrics, notions as well as all their creative ideas for quilters.
Quilted Thimble Cottage will offer fabric kits – for quilts, coin purses, table runners etc. and some handpainted pincushions.
Quilted To A Tee offers their service for quilting and custom made T-shirt & Memory quilts.
Quilters Loft Company will have PFAFF machines, notions, kits, fabric and those wonderful gifts they always come up with.
Sew Much Fun will be offering their Bernina machines as well as charm packs, patterns & some great special jewelry.
Shakerwood Woolens is bringing her wonderful hand dyed wools, wool appliqué patterns, kits, threads and more.
Sew Very Smooth will have the Sew Steady portable sewing tables & all their accessories.
