The Quilting and Knitting Expo in Columbia, SC

Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17, 2013
from 9 am - 5 pm
at the Jamil Shrine Center, 206 Jamil Road, Columbia, SC

This is a fabulous shopping opportunity for anyone that loves quilting or knitting!  This is our newest show and we are very excited to be in Columbia with all the fabulous quilt guilds there.  And we didn't forget the knitters.  There will be vendors selling cotton fabrics, hand dyed wool fabrics, books, patterns, notions, threads, kits, yarns, sewing machines, long arm quilting machines, stained glass quilting designs, gifts, buttons, vintage linens, embellishments and more!  We hope to see you in Columbia for the first event of the fall quilting season.

Breaking News!  Quilts of Valor has organized a display of their quilts.  As you probably know, many, many quilters in SC (and NC) make and donate quilts to be given to our service men and women.  Representatives of this organization will be on site to answer your questions. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover all combat service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. We are very proud to support their efforts and look forward to seeing their quilts.

Schoolhouse quilts will feature one yard cuts for $5.25.  The Quilter's Gallery will feature their baby quilt pizzas for $25.00.
