Gather your T-shirts and make a one of a kind quilt.  We will go over the basics of T-shirt quilt making and different layouts from simple to more creative.  Please note this is NOT a beginner's class. Fusion Tablerunner
Thursday November 16, 10:30-3:30p
Class Fee:  $45
Instructor:  Martha Hannah

In this class, we will construct this lovely table runner.  The sample in the Quilter’s Loft was made with fall color fabrics that I thought would be great on your Thanksgiving table, but choose any fabric for any occasion that you prefer. This class will help you develop for skills for precise cutting and accurate ¼ seams.  In making this runner myself, I developed a trick for matching angles and corners that will save you from a lot of ripping out and starting over.  In order to make this runner look like the sample in the book, you will need to do some very precise sewing.  This runner, I thought, was more challenging to make than I first perceived.   You may choose to use precut charm squares or yardage.  Depending on your skills, you may or may not be able to finish the top of your runner.  You might consider having your batting and backing in the event that you are able to sandwich your layers and start quilting before class is over.
